Here is a new watercolor. I am trying to do more watercolors in the next few weeks. I have a public watercolor demo coming up and want to get back in the groove. There was a lot of "Sargent" thinking when doing this piece. I tried to be economical in my washes and brushwork. Some areas work --others areas not so well.

I did a couple paintings this week along with one of my private study students. These are colorist exercises in acrylic. Part of the instruction included studying and discussing the work of Pierre Bonnard, Wolf Kahn and Richard Diebenkorn.
